Tour de France 2024
For the 2024 edition of the Tour de France, several technical and logistics teams operated across mountainous regions and isolated rural areas, far from conventional infrastructure. Reliable and transportable energy was required to power communication devices, IT equipment, and cooling systems inside support vehicles and temporary coordination tents.
To meet these needs, Sunslice supplied Gravity 1024 portable power stations, paired with 2048Wh battery extensions for increased endurance, and Fusion 440 solar panels for autonomous charging throughout the day. These systems were integrated into mobile command vans and technical support vehicles, offering a quiet and emission-free alternative to conventional generators.
The modular configuration allowed each vehicle to operate fully off-grid for several days, powering communication equipment, lighting, and digital broadcasting tools. With compact form factors and quick deployment capability, the systems ensured operational continuity during transitions between stages — even in the most remote sections of the race.
This setup reflects a broader trend toward sustainable, flexible energy for field operations, events, and mission-critical logistics — combining autonomy, silence, and mobility in one integrated solution.

About the Gravity 1024 and 2048Wh Expansion Module
Portable, Scalable Power for Off-Grid Mobility

The Gravity 1024 is a compact, professional-grade power station designed for demanding off-grid applications. With a 1024 Wh LiFePO₄ battery and 1000 W pure sine inverter, it delivers clean AC power for laptops, networking gear, cameras, and field equipment.
When extended with the 2048 Wh expansion module, total capacity increases to 3072 Wh, offering extended runtime for multi-day operations or high-load scenarios. Both units can recharge directly from the Fusion 440 solar panel, creating a fully autonomous, renewable energy loop for mobile missions.
Built for field deployment, the system integrates smart monitoring, multiple AC and DC outputs, and a ruggedized aluminum casing. Compact and easy to transport, it ensures reliable power wherever vehicles or teams operate independently from the grid — from sporting events to field research and emergency response.
Sunslice off-grid energy systems empower professionals to work, communicate, and operate efficiently in any environment — silently and sustainably, wherever the road leads.
